Besides being in a prime location at 1009 and 1011 S. Congress Ave., Music Lane is the talk of the area for everything the $55 million, 1.5-acre mixed-use development is said to offer. With the construction still underway and the opening date of spring 2020 looming closer and closer, there’s even more buzz about what the building will do for the community.
In the midst of all the buzz, Music Lane has finally released some of the businesses that will be finding their new homes here. Among the list of businesses are some great restaurants and snack spots to check out. For those looking for healthy dining options, there will be a juice bar and nutritional health store, SunLife Organics, while those who have a sweet tooth will want to check out the gelato shop and cocktail bar, Gelateria Gemelli. For a little Mediterranean flavor, the Chicago-based restaurant, Aba, will be available to satisfy your taste buds.
As for the retail storefronts, there’s a fine jewelry spot, a health and wellness business focused on apothecary products, and Manready Mercantile for your candle and apparel needs. If you often find yourself drawn to home goods stores, Tuft & Needle will draw your eye. The well-known apparel retailers Reformation and Buck Mason will also be setting up shop in the South Congress development!
These businesses are just the latest to be announced, and there are still some that have yet to be released. This project is a massive development that consists of two three-story buildings and one four-story building. These buildings will house 25 tenants in total, and we’re excited to hear what other businesses will be joining this great roster of stores, restaurants, and companies coming to South Congress!
