Congress Avenue Bridge spans over Lady Bird Lake and is home to millions of Mexican free-tailed bats that put on quite a show for spectators as they exit the bridge every evening to feed during the warmer months of the year. These bats are welcome friends to the community and offer a beautiful reminder that we live in nature, not the other way around.
