Great Hills falls into both Austin ISD and Round Rock ISD school districts, depending on the exact neighborhood. Both school districts offer highly rated schools in this area of town. The AISD schools are Hill Elementary, Murchison Middle School and Anderson Hill School. The RRISD students go to North Oaks Elementary, Canyon Vista Middle School and Westwood High School.
