People were excited these events could be found
From A to Z, Austin celebrates with passion

Armadillos are bizarre, no question of this
But catching the last few days of the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is something not to miss!
Open 11-11 daily from now until Christmas Eve
The bazaar has gifts to both give and receive.

Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is an art fair and music festival in one at the Palmer Events Center at 900 Barton Springs Road. Admission is $7 for a single day pass, children 12 and under are free. Parking at the Palmer Events Center is also $7.

Blue Genies also find the magic in the air
Where the Blue Genie Art Bazaar sells local artisan wares.
Also daily until 12/24, but instead from 10 to 10
The bazaar has gifts for both women and men.

Blue Genie Art Bazaar offers free admission and parking and is located at 6226 Middle Fiskville Road in the Marchesa Hall & Theatre. Christmas movies are played continuously in the theatre for free as well.

Canorah is happening one day only, on the 17th of December
Where building a menorah for Chanukah is something to remember
Starting 4 pm during the Festival of Lights
A thousand cans will be lit, surely to be quite a sight!

The Canorah is both a celebration of Chanukah and a donation for the Austin Area Food Bank. Visitors are asked to bring a canned food donation to attend the celebration where free drinks, music, art and activities will be provided. The event is being held at the Hebrew Preparatory School at 2127 W. Parmer Lane.

The Nutcracker Ballet is always quite fun
Daily shows until 12/23 featuring Ballet Austin.

Performances held daily at The Long Center. This year offers an enchanting new production with choreography by Stephen Mills and Live Accompaniment.

Witness the Miracle of 37th Street lights each night
When all the houses Keep Austin Weird, shiny and bright.

Visitors can walk or drive down the street and witness the holiday lights creatively crafted by area artists and residents. This event is free. If parking, please respect driveways of the houses and do not block anyone in.

The Zilker Trail of Lights is an Austin creation
